Meet our team

Andrea Bayne

Service Manager

I have worked in adult social care for over 25 years and joined CHAD, now Linden Terrace, 8 years ago.

During my time in adult social care I have worked in a broad spectrum of services and have commissioned with many different authorities. I have supported people with varied needs and I am very passionate about providing the very best care for the people we support.

My career started as a Care Worker and to date I have worked within various professional roles with many differing responsibilities. I have a level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.

I am extremely proud of the team I work with. We ensure that every person we support is at the heart of their care.

I believe passionately about rights, choices, dignity, and respect. My team and I ensure we provide many opportunities for the people we support, helping each individual to achieve their goals

Dhiraj Rijhwani

Divisional Director

I joined Swanton in 2017 as a service manager and worked with the team to expand supported living services as well as manage residential homes. In time, I became regional director for the North-East in 2021, and Divisional Director in 2024. I learned very early on in my career with Swanton that the company is very passionate about the people we support, their homes and enriching their quality of life, which aligns with my own values.

I moved to England from Mumbai, India, in 2005 for education which I continued to do for several years. During this time, I integrated with people from many countries and cultures, and this helped broaden my viewpoints massively. I firmly believe this helped me to embrace diversity and value varied inputs throughout my career, which I have been in since 2006.

I understand that being in a support environment can be difficult. Together, the team and I are here to help in empowering and supporting those in our care to feel safe and live the lives they wish to lead.

About

At Linden Terrace it is vital that the service users feel that the Cordingley House in Linden Terrace is their home for life. This is in order to provide them with the security and feeling of belonging to a family group.

Linden Terrace will promote positive relationships which exist with family and friends in the service users home community and will endeavour to maintain these relationships. We will operate an “open door” policy whereby friends, families and advocates of the service users will be encouraged to visit and be as involved as possible in the daily lives of the service users.
